Um, wow. Two things:
1) I loved VC Andrews as a kid, learned way more from Flowers in the Attic in the 6th grade than should have been allowed. My parents were not paying attention.
2) No, I did not check this out of the Denver Public Library. Better - picked it up at a roadside bar on my way to/from camping. They have a pile o' books - leave one/take one style.
